Tactile Polaroid Series is a collection of abstract, hand-stitched textile studies inspired by close observation of natural forms and textures. Each piece functions as a small-scale exploration of material, surface and composition, drawing on the way nature fragments, clusters and repeats.
Working with fabric, embroidery and beading, the series focuses on building texture through slow, tactile processes. Threads are stitched and built upon to form dense clusters of colour, The restrained colour palette references organic tones found in the landscape, allowing material and texture to take precedence over pattern or narrative.
Presented in a Polaroid-like format, the works act as intimate visual records, studies that capture a moment, texture, or feeling rather than a literal representation. Together, the series reflects an interest in process-led making, material experimentation, and the quiet details often found through close engagement with the natural world.
